About Luxury Addiction Treatment
Dedicated to healing lives through compassionate, evidence-based care
Our Story
Luxury Addiction Treatment began with a clinician's frustration. After years on hospital floors, our founder watched the same pattern repeat: patients stabilized, discharged, and sent back into the world with little more than a pamphlet — too often returning weeks later, worse than before. The system treated the crisis but rarely the person.
So she left to build something different in Turlock. A center small enough to know every patient by name, resourced enough to offer real comfort, and grounded in the conviction that recovery takes individualized time, not assembly-line schedules. From the first conversation to the day a patient walks out transformed, care here is designed around the human being, not the diagnosis code.
That founding belief still drives everything we do. We measure success not by how quickly someone moves through our doors, but by the durable, changed life they build long after they leave.
Our Mission
Our mission is to end the shame that keeps people from getting help. Too many in our community suffer in silence because they fear judgment more than the addiction itself. Luxury Addiction Treatment exists to change that — to make seeking treatment feel as ordinary and worthy of respect as treating any other medical condition, and to prove that recovery in Turlock can be both clinically excellent and genuinely humane.
Treatment Philosophy
We believe recovery is a continuum, not a single event. Our care follows a harm-reduction continuum that meets patients wherever they are, reducing risk and building safety before demanding perfection. We use motivational enhancement to strengthen each person's own reasons for change rather than imposing ours, because the motivation that lasts comes from within. And because lasting recovery happens in the real world, we emphasize community reintegration — rebuilding the work, relationships, and routines that give a sober life its meaning.
Our Team
Dr. Helena Voss, MD, FASAM
